So I went to a DnB show here in San Diego. It was )3IB(, deisel boy, and a couple of local cats. All of the dj's were on point, and I heard some incredible remixes of tracks I have yet to pick up. The only downfall to the whole evening was the continous ranting and babble of the wack ass emcees!!!! All I could think about was the recent discussion on this forum about how lame that shit is. I guess my question is why do all of these clowns try to sound like they are from jamaica? What if some real hip hop emcees were ready to step up and actually write down their lyrics and had a message? where would these jokers stand then? or have they already ruined the chances of a drum and bass emcee being taken seriously?
I've recently uploaded some tracks onto mp3.com. please give a listen.
