No, I don't think having "industry contacts" has a lot to do with it unless
someone provides you with an acapella to do a remix with ie. "has it come to
this") or hooks you up with a session singer, ie. J Magick with Kathy Brown
. I suspect HC just has a better idea of what to look for and where to find
it. I believe the vocals off "make it tonight" are from an acapella but
"music is everything" is a session singer, "I love this feeling" is also off
an acapella (Brian Harvey of all people!)...
