I just got one and its the SHIT!
1 ghz processor
512 memory
60 gig hard drive.
This does all the same things the desktop G4 does plus you can take it on the road with you.
The superdrive burns cd-r/rw AND dvd-r's
Been trying to hook up with the brand new Pro Tools 6
and Logic 6 just came out also.
Both are top notch music apps.
Full on portable studio stylee.
While your at it, get the 20 gig iPOD mp3 player.

Got a PC at moment but am thinking of upping the PC or going for the top G4 or 17" powerbook. Any suggestions on performance Vs + benefits/losses. Studio at moment is 600 athlon pc with pulsar card Emu 6400 ultra bass+drum stations, keyboard, and 16 track desk.
