I remember reading somewhere that certain steinberg upgrades caused Cubase SX to "vanish" mysteriously.

Also, I have a proper copy of Cubase SX but certain *cough* ;) plugins make it crash to the desktop.

On the whole, it's stabler than previous versions, but even with a totally legit setup, it'll still crash on a reasonably regular basis.

Another "pro" arguement for the warez brigade, I'm afraid.

Is it a genuine copy or warez?

Has anyone ever had a problem with Cubase SX on pc where it refuses to load beyond the intro/splash/logo screen?

It gets to the very end of the loading sequence and then just jumps
straight to the desktop...
The crazy thing is that I was using it last night and it was fine..
Nothing's changed (to my knowledge) on my system?!?!

I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and even reverting back
to an earlier release (I'm using 1.03 at the moment)..

Any advice would be massively appreciated.. I've already searched
cubase.net but I can't find anything relevant...

:(

Nick
