i agree. hardware sampler days are numbered buddy. i too have an E6400 ultra 
but i'm not going to upgrade it anymore because the cost doesn't match the 
performance of whats out there now.  If i am using pad sounds, then i 
generally stick them in the sampler as they eat up poly and put a strain on 
my cpu.
