Is it worth buying a cheap compressor like an Alesis 3630 or maybe something a little more like the Behringer T1952 Tube Composer in comparison to using Waves software compressors. I'm wondering if the hardware would be worth it for the final mix.
Also, I'm a little curious about what you software producers final signal chain is like. I think I'm ready to do more work on the end product. As of now I only do some real simple compression using Sound Forge.
