heh, I forwarded your original email about the spamming idea to Alex with my own message asking about the state of the lists... didn't think it would actually achieve anything - sorry to get you in (any) trouble! :)

Alex, Thanks for your prompt reply. I was under the impression that others from the list had contacted you (or maybe someone else from breakbeat.co.uk) regarding this matter and had had no reply. Hence I suggested "spamming" (although "spamming" is not the correct term as this subject is legitimate and relevant) you, nothing personalm your email address was the first found. Apologies if this has caused you distress. I briefly outlined the issues in the email I sent you earlier but i'll recap: The list appears to not to distributing emails correct, I regularly recieve replies to emails that I haven't recieved. The list is also riddled with spam. In the last week, we've had two emails from a Chinese export firm, one of those hoax fraud things from ghana (get those regular as clockwork), something about tacos (?!?) and some other stuff I can't even remember. Also, when you make a post to *either list*, the mailbot tries to subscribe you to both lists. Even if you're already subscribed. I must have unsubscribed from the normal dnb list 20 times now, but everytime I make a post to the dnb-prod list it re-subscribes me. This has all been going on for several months now and has been becoming quite frustrating. I'm quite surprised that no-one at breakbeat is aware of it, to be honest. Anyway, apologies again, if I seemed to be singleling you out, as that's not the case!
