You can change the pitch on either of these and have it stay the same tempo,
but that's not what he's askin about... the nutone track slows down to
around 130 bpm and then speeds back up (hence, you need to change the
tempo).

Wont this chage the tempo though?!?!
is there a pitch change track you can add - so that the tempo stays the
same?

Easy to do this if you're running all Midi. If you're in cubase/logic etc.
you can just insert a "tempo track" and then draw a line to speed up speed
down as you want.

Audio is a bit trickier... the best suggestion I can make is to use ACID and
insert lots of "tempo change" markers (ie: 175-170-165-160-155-150) and slow
it that way...

Just a quick question, but does anyone know how you slow down a tune in mid
flight and then pitch back up again using a sequencer - or can you only do
this in audio?

In either case, how do you do it so that the tune sounds like it changes
speed throughout its length?

I heard a great tune by Nu-tone (Goes Around) that slows right down, but is
still d+b tempo at all times (it was mixed in and out) and I have heard
Paradox do this in his live shows too....

Its a cool effect, but I don't know how it can be done.

Any info???

Cheers
