Hey,

Does anyone have any handy hints for making sure all the parts in a track are in tune with each other?

(apart from the obvious: “musical talent”!)..

A big problem I have is that some of my samples are recorded at different sample rates and sometimes when I’m being lazy, instead of converting the files to the right sample rate I just re-set the pitch on the sampler to what I think it should be… This sometimes results in a cool sound, but sometimes I end up with a track which sounds ok at normal pitch but when pitched up on a deck things go a bit odd… my assumption Is that I’m just not good enough at picking out the right pitch (although I guess it could be that the pitch shifting on the sampler isn’t accurate enough..)..

Either way, I’d love a way to be able to quickly get things pitched correctly from within Cubase…

Any ideas?

Cheers,
