I've never got too involved in the midi features of Cubase... but...
One way to do it is to find out the midi controller number for the
parameter on the virus that you want to change (will be in a table in
the virus' manual)... and then create a lane of controller data for that
channel in cubase (on a normal midi track)... You can then draw a graph
to represent the midi controller data which will control the virus when
you play back the song.... Does that make sense?

Subject: [dnb-prod] simple cubase - virus question
at least i think this should be simple... i just started using cubase,
so this is all new to me.
im trying to control my virus indigo using sx. i want to edit patches
in cubase rather than have to save new patches on the virus. how do i do
this?
for example, i want to increase sub osc on a patch on the virus for a particular part of a tune. how can i get cubase to edit this info on
the virus without saving a new patch on the virus itself?
hope my question makes sense. thanks for any help.
