Hi,
The error is returned from the remote server, so I assume it is sending something sensible. It would appear the problem is DNews is requesting an article number that doesn't exist on the server. This can happen if articles are removed (E.g. spam or cancelled posts), or if the upstream numbers have been altered.
If the latter, you can use 'tellnews getold groupname 100000' to lower the counters for groups to get it sucking again from the right place.
