Dnews is stripping the "X-No-Archive: Yes" header from some posts. I have

gone through everything and cannot find a reason. Any suggestions?

I just did a quick search and can't find that header defined anywhere in dnews,
so unless you've
added a dnews.conf setting to specifically remove that header, I would be
'most' surprized if
it was stripping it.

Is it possible something else is stripping this ?

It's confusing me too. The header is definitely there when
posted (locally) but not there when read, regardless of it being
local or downloaded from another server. I do virtually no
filtering and make no references to X-No-Archive in dnews.conf.

Try it like hand, just like this (see below, change the news group name), here it worked ok. If it works ok, then the problem is in your news client. But if the header vanishes, then send me your dnews.conf and newsfeeds.conf and I'll look for a cause.
