cancel_disable accepts the cancel message, but doesn't action it, cancel_reject doesn't accept the cancel message.
This *rul* works only for the users at the server, not for *outside* cancels....(?)
No, the above rules apply to local and remote incoming cancels.
But I still receive cancels in control.cancel and the msg's are delete in the group....
That's odd, Which setting are you using (include your entire dnews.conf if possible), and how do you know the messages in question existed ?

If *true* is a option, is *false* not also a option ?
The setting 'cancel_anyone' is obsolete and has no affect, true or false, the example shouldn't use it I'll correct that.
