Dnews is running now for a few years. After these years there are many
graphs visible in the GIU, many of them aren't used anymore. How do i
remove them?
Stop dnews
Stop dmgrsvc (net stop dmgrsvc)
close the admin tool
Delete gstat.* from the workarea
Start them all again
Another question: Can i delete some files where articlenumbers of my
feeders are stored? I have one sucking feeder where thery renumbered the
article numbering. All articles where rejected, so i removed this sucking
feed from my sucking list, and entered it again but now not with the
server name. Dnews "thinks" this is a complete new server, and will suck
it totaly. I preferred just to reset the articlenumbering. Any idea how to
fix this?
Use the command:
tellnews getold "*" 10000
That will reset the counters.
