until a group has been read, but then it should start maintaining an
index
from that point on.
But to answer your question, no, there is no setting required to speed
things up, it should speed up by itself
if it's going to.
Not only when I visit the group, even when I will read next msg in the
same
group it's slow.
I can see in dadmin how busy the server is.....~80/100 %...when I connect
the server.
This takes about a few seconds, after that the server goes back to ~10/100
%
That does sound a little odd send me the output of:
tellnews stats
and
tellnews status
and I'll see if anything strikes me in those figures. Send to
