Devuan jessie is updated as debian jessie, so, upgrade libc version isn't something we can consider right now. Of course you can use devuan ascii ( same upgrade level as debian testing ) or ceres ( same as sid ), but of course this isn't a solution for you. The actual libc in devuan is directly included from debian without devuan changes, so, probably the issue is in debian jessie too.
