Errr, Devuan's reason for _existing_ is to eschew systemd. While using LXDE in preference, I can't really tell any difference when using Gnome. Ditching the latter will not be noticed at the user level. I've downloaded devuan_jessie_1.0.0_i386_CD.iso, but not installed it yet. That is Gnome-free, and thus systemd-free?
