Hello
First thank you for dnsmasq. we've used it for a long time.

We have a local hosts file, which may change a few times per day at the
most.
I've tried using this in /etc/dnsmasq.conf:
addn-hosts=/fbc/dns/hosts-ona

Which works. Except when hosts-ona changes dnsmasq does not seem to pick
up the changes.

Is there a setting to make it so dnsmasq monitors an addn-hosts file for
changes?

No, (and it doesn't monitor /etc/hosts either, only /etc/resolv.conf) You need to send the dnsmasq process SIGHUP to get it to re-read the hosts file(s).

Cheers,

Simon.

thank you
