I have to agree with Mark here. The majority of folks updating DNS records are not going to be primarily DNS people, or Web folks, but random system admins and network engineers. Also, the test vectors in Appendix D should be full DNS records and not just the RDATA. I understand this, and most of us do, but give some examples someone looking at this can truly copy/paste into a zone file. But that's just me. tim
