I have a question which doesn't need answering, but I have it anyway. Nobody intends re-using the code points, right?
So the deprecation is about BCP, not about conformance to protocol? It's just the DNS police telling people to move along? Some days, I think that kind of thing might be better done in another mechanism. (telling people to move along) but deprecation as BCP, I get. re-using codepoints.
