Dear colleagues,

Please note the new revision of our agenda for IETF 115 at
https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/115/materials/agenda-115-dnsop-01.

The main change is that we've added some time for draft-ietf-dnsop-alt-tld. The
chairs have discussed extensively what to do next with alt-tld, since we're
hearing from all sides: those who think it's ready for Last Call, those who
think it's basically OK but needs some more work, and those who oppose it
heartily or simply want never to hear about it again. The question for us
regarding the agenda at 115 has been how much we will accomplish with giving it
meeting time.

The chairs set out some comments on the -17 version, which appear to have been
addressed in the -18 version. We agree with the editors that there are a couple
of issues that may need further discussion.

The time set aside for alt-tld in our meeting next week is intended to let us
we find out how far we might be from consensus on the current draft and whether
people still feel there are new things to say. If they do, it seems to us
unlikely that we'll resolve those issues in a few minutes at IETF 115, and
we'll do an interim to resolve them. Otherwise, we expect to put it in the
queue and move it to WGLC as soon as we've got a couple of other drafts through
WGLC.

Best,

Suzanne, Tim, and Benno
