Current TSIG code supports only HMAC-MD5.SIG-ALG.REG.INT when better HMACs (HMAC-SHA1, HMAC-SHA256, etc) are standardized. It should be fine to make the code more "hash algorithm agile"... And this doesn't seem very hard.
