I'm not a DNSSEC Validator dev, but your issues are most likely caused
by name collision between your internal TLD and the .company gTLD:
$ dig www.company +short
127.0.53.53
Your browser uses your local DNS server and that's where you get
10.x.x.x responses from, but when DNSSEC Validator iterates from the
root, it hits the nameservers that .company is delegated to and these
respond with 127.0.53.53, a special address which you can read more
about here: https://icann.org/namecollision
