For me (on my self-compiled DO from bzr) the plugin kind of works... "Kind of" because - the prefs dialogs seems to work - but it behaves strangely: After starting do, it doesn't seem to match any files. If I go to the prefs, set all dirs to 0 and then try again after setting one dir to 1, it works. If I however set two dirs to 1, it does not work again...
