The Democracy Online Project, a research project of the Graduate School of
Political Management at George Washington University, is looking for a
talented web designer.  The designer will be responsible for all program
design and construction of GSPM’s project web sites.  In addition, the
designer will be responsible for the following duties:  Monitor web site and
page traffic and prepare reports of visits and usage; coordinate live web
casts of project events; work with outside consultants to increase web site
traffic and  visibility of the projects through the use of the Internet and
maintain and update content on web sites.  The ideal candidate will have two
to four years of progressively responsible programming experience including
six months of either systems development and or systems programming, or
on-line, interactive programing experience.  At a minimum, qualified
applicants must have two years of college study to include courses in
computer sciences, statistics, business administration or mathematics or an
equivalent combination of training and experience.  Salary:  mid to high
$30,000s plus excellent benefits, including tuition.  For more
