I was pecking into Google's new auto-news services <http://news.google.com/> and I clicked on this Daily Telegraph story <http://www.dailytelegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2002/10/01/wmid01.xml&sSheet=/news/2002/10/01/ixhome.html> and soon the top half of my screen went progressively black with a chicken bouncing around inside until it was stuck. Then a pop up option allow me to click if I wanted to oppose Battery Hen cages <http://www.rspca.org.uk/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=RSPCACampaigns/eggs/eggshomepage>. It was one of the more clever online petition requests/advocacy ads I have seen online to date. What have you found particularly effective? Steven Clift Democracies Online P.S.
