The developer that's added Bidi (and shaping) to d-i (debian's installer) notes the following example of things to come/expect,

It would be wise for those involved in this project to keep track of this issue and ask for a screenshot which includes some text with the possibly offending characters. BTW: their developer hang-out on IRC in #debian-boot. It would be best to have Anmar coordinate this effort and report back with any changes/info/screenshots ASAP.
