I am very sorry for promising to be in on the project and not doing anything , but the modem I had didn't work under linux , and I had to get a new external modem , which I am now in the process of configuring (actually , have been in the process of configuring for over a day ) , and I will , hopefull , start work as soon as I am up to speed .
