Folks, FYI, John Powell sent a note to devinfo a while ago offering to help look through all the contributed HOWTO docs and help organize that section of our web site. John and I have been in touch and he's going to have some time starting in the next few weeks where he can contribute to this. I have said that my basic concerns are that: - someone needs to go through all the "contributed" HOWTO docs and determine which are appropriate to the newest versions of e-smith and which apply to older versions. - related to that, we need some way of marking the howtos as to which versions of e-smith they relate to. - I'm open to other ways of classifying the documents than what I do now (and I'm working on an alternative method of storing the info). John was quite interested in helping with this and I encouraged him to use this mailing list as a tool to communicate with all of you as he begins this work. So please look for his messages on these matters in the near future.
