FYI, I spent a rather frustrating afternoon Friday trying to compile
openjade 1.3 on a Red Hat 7.0 system. I was trying to get a version
with the patches... but I tried compiling it without as well.
Both failed.
Early this morning I thought about compiling it on a RH 6.2 system,
and lo and behold it compiled perfectly fine, with or without the
patches. So, I guess openjade is another victim of the compiler
problems that have occurred with RH 7.0.
Adam, since you are now maintaining openjade, I thought you should
know about this... and I thought others using RH 7.0 might like to
know this before they tried compiling it!
Regards,
Dan
