Yes, I am trying to get TeTeX to understand PNG at the moment. It seems
that I need to rebuild the version installed on RedHat 7.0, as the part
that handles png images seems to have been linked against the non-dynamic
libpng 1.0.6 and doesn't understand the PNGs I am trying to use ...

My next step is to try some EPS images as well.
