Hi, Well, I solved my problems with rules above the footers ... Blush, you need a 'lenght: <some-length>' in a (make rule ...) if you want the rule to reliably print. I don't know why, but JadeTex would print out the full hrule, even though Length was zero, or would print out two half rules or something, except when a table preceeded the bottom of the page.
