If convenience with oXygen was the priority, then Dave could configure
oXygen to run the ssh/ant script/tool as an 'External Tool' available
from the oXygen menus and toolbar.  (The same is probably true with
other XML IDEs.)

(If Dave was up for a bit of Java programming, he could make it an
'action' with its own menu item and toolbar icon, but he's expressed his
opinion of Java once today already.)
