Yes, I would be interested. We currently support generation of the CHM files for the old help files. However, the MS help tools are getting very long in the tooth and is very quirky. They do not really support some of the newer stuff (i.e. MathML) and such that are in our printed docs. The old MS Help format is not long for this world. Hi Morten, I saw your message and before responding I was waiting to see if there was any interest expressed by other members of the mailing list. Given the number of output formats we already support, we have to be careful about adding more. So, other members, is there a demand for converting DocBook to the new Microsoft Help format? I'm not familiar with the new Microsoft Help format, but I would be willing to take a look at your customization. Now, the the point; I do remember to have seen somewhere that there is a wish to get the new Microsoft Help format (hv1,hv2.0 etc) into docbook. We have written a transformation for this internally, and I was wondering if it would be something that upstream would be interested in. If some of you think it will, then I would be happy to start the internal (..yes) process of open sourcing the customizations. It is functional, but there are some corner cases that I know about that fails, so I believe it would be preferable to get some more eyes on the transformation.
