I just submitted the Application for our participation in the Google Summer of Code.
I don't know if the application is visible on the Google site, but you can see the complete text of the application (I cut and pasted from here) at: http://docbook.xmlpress.net/tiki-index.php?page=application. There are a few hours before the application deadline passes; if anyone sees anything egregious, email me right away and I will do my best to fix things. Thanks to Stefan Seefeld for agreeing to act as backup administrator, everyone who agreed to participate as a mentor, and everyone who commented on the web site and application.
