Well, the first reason is because the labels are useful when exporting 
metrics via cadvisor. Gives you can easy way to write alerts on services. 

I had a couple ideas using events and found them useful while swarm events 
are being flushed out. One is for temp/perm token creation/revoking w/ 
vault. I could always just do this polling the service endpoint for now but 
where is the fun in that ;).
