Ask, what would be the best way for us to share local perl libs for the
new site build? Currently I've everything under ~/lib. Should we move it
to a common area writable by group? where? Is Brian the only person who
can do it?

yeah, I think so. Write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We could also make
another user for this that we can sudo to.

OK,

which is the most convenient way? Like when we add new users?

It's really whatever fits best into how the tools works and such.

How hard are they to setup? Does it work with the standard
perl/whatever install on daedalus? If they do and a cvs checkout
can make you ready to go, then just having each user use their own
lib dir makes sense; if it requires more installs from CPAN etc,
then having a "group user" like we have apmail makes sense.

You need a bunch of CPAN modules which aren't in the core perl 5.005_03. So I guess we will go with the group. What name? apperl? Or we can re-use one of the existing groups as well.
