I'm updating the statistics pages with some descriptions now. I noticed that for Security space, we have the potential to do much more, as they do feature a page with statistics only ofr mod_perl, which we could use with a script like the one for Netcraft. That would make it look a littl better I think.. What do you think?

sure we just need a way to figure out how to get the data. But what would be much better is to simply to link to their site. But I doubt they will like that. They are quite recent players, so they don't have the early data anyway.

We're already linking to their site. http://www.securityspace.com/s_survey/data/man.200204/apachemods.html?mod=cGVybA==

I know, so?

You said "But what would be much better is to simply to link to their site. But I doubt they will like that." I said: we're already doing that.
But now I understand that you mean linking directly to their graph.

However I think it looks nicer to have the graph locally..
As for early data.. they have data from June 98, which is pretty good anyhow.

mod_perl is out there since 96 :)

Yes, but usage sprung out in 98 or some..

anyway, please feel free to acquire the data, make sure that we can get the new data as it becomes available and make a local graph :)

yeah, I'll do that.
