Though I strongly suggest to remove the png files and replace with gifs.
And suggest pngs as source. Because if we don't despite the warning,
people *will* use pngs if they work for them, and then some people will
suffer for nothing.

Yes, but try NS4 and it'll crash. probably other browsers too. I don't see
any problem with using gifs. If we ever get approached by Unisys, we will
change these to something else.
But ok, I'll drop them... Many Open Source people will feel strongly
against Gifs though. Might be a consideration.
They can still use PNGs if they want. It's not that we hide them away,
it's just that we don't make it easy to copy-n-paste them.
No problem. I'll make PNG available as an alternative.
