Hi,
we recently saw some confusion by various users how to manage (as in
install/remove/...) pkgsrc packages.
One source of confusion was that we had three different documents
describing pkgsrc on the wiki. One from the old handbook, one from the
new handbook and the pkgsrc howto listed in the sidebar.
I merged the content of all three documents into one, updated the
content, reformatted some sections and changed all links to the
remaining document.
If you want to add information about pkgsrc in the wiki, please only
edit this document:
http://www.dragonflybsd.org/docs/howtos/HowToPkgsrc/
Do not edit one of the others versions (maybe we should simply delete
them?) and do not create new pages if its not absolutely necessary. Our
pkgsrc documentation is quite good and up2date, so we should try to keep
that state.
