Wha?  AAUI, the 2.2.x docs document the 2.2.x releases, and this will not 
change as we make new branches.  If any docs that apply to 2.2.x are only in 
the trunk docs, then they need to be backported.  Don't we even have a 
lightweight process for that? 

Or am I understanding you incorrectly?
