             Bug #: 52825
Summary: CGIMapExtension directive entry should be deleted in
                    the Core module manual
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.4.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Documentation
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified

It seems CGIMapExtension is abandoned by the core module? The directive handle
function is now in modules/arch/netware/mod_netware.c

Configure the CGIMapExtension in the httpd.conf, the following error message
will occur:

Invalid command 'CGIMapExtension', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module
not included in the server configuration

However, the core module manual still keeps the CGIMapExtension entry:

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/core.html#cgimapextension

which will confuse other users (especially new users).

Thanks!
