Bug ID: 59999
Summary: RewriteRule documentation: "that lead"
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.5-HEAD
Hardware: All
URL: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/en/mod/mod_rewrite.
html#rewriterule
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/en/mod/mod_rewrite.html#rewriterule
contains:
When using the rewrite engine in .htaccess files the per-directory prefix (that
is, the URI path that lead to the directory containing this .htaccess file) is
automatically removed for the RewriteRule pattern matching and automatically
added after any relative (not starting with a slash or protocol name)
substitution encounters the end of a rule set.
English is not my native language, but the "that lead" in the parenthesis is
incorrect. It should probably read either "that leads" or "that led".
By the way:
There could be a comma after "in .htacces files".
Using "automatically" twice is redundant. It is quite obvious anyway that
rewriting is automatic.
