Greetings Rich,

I also do not consider this as a bug.

Modifying the component/product itself does not require much effort, but
checking that the ticket is not a duplicate (because the reporter searched the
wrong place) takes significant effort. And if it *is* a duplicate, then most of
the reporter’s efforts will have been wasted. It Should be clear where each
issue goes.

To clarify, this is not saying the website has to have a specific
component/product. This is just saying the website should document where issues
in website contents are tracked. To simplify, I would say it took me about 1
hour to figure that out, with limited confidence. I believe website issues
other than contents/HTML/CSS/JS are tracked in ASF Jira.

For the documentation proper, this is currently achieved with the “Report a
bug” link top right, although if we go for a link on each page, I would rather
recommend “Report an issue or propose an improvement”.
