Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #2 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Rich Bowen from comment #1) > The documentation for CGIVar has been rewritten in trunk to address the > concerns raised here: Thank you very much again, that improves a lot. > Similarly, "original URI from the request line" is clear to the target > audience and does not require > RFC 9110 "request-target" terminology. Nobody said the terminology *needed* to be updated; there are other ways to fix. I would not say the problem here is a lack of clarity, but the implication that there is request-line which contains a URI, which is wrong. As discussed in the Description and ticket #70035, a request-line does not necessarily contain a URI (it typically does not). Moreover, a request does not necessarily have a request-line (see HTTP 3). > Fixed in trunk and 2.4 (1934488 and1934489 respectively) These do fix #3, but the specific issue this ticket tracks is the one the Subject describes (#1), which persists. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
