 Ah yes, one more thing: This issue was caught by a little  functional
 symfony test of mine. The test just created and saved a record, then
 updated it a second later and finally compared the created_at and the
 updated_at values to see if they mismatch.

 I think this would be a good candiate for an automated doctrine test for
 the timestampable behaviour as well.
