Did you use the (yet undocumented) refClassRelationAlias-attribute when
defining the models? See [http://trac.doctrine-project.org/ticket/1323]
and [http://trac.doctrine-project.org/changeset/4890] for more
information.
Independently of this ticket I think the documentation of nested relations
should be extended to support the refClassRelationAlias-attribute.
