Hi all, I'm organizing the Open Help Conference & Sprints again this year. This is the fifth year, and we have an upgraded venue with space for even more sprints. Jean Weber joined us at the 2012 conference. It would be great to see somebody from LibreOffice again.
https://conf.openhelp.cc/ The two-day conference happens Sept 26-27 (with a great reception on Sept 25). It features a mix of presentations and open discussion time that has proved popular in helping people find solutions to improve their documentation and their communities. After the conference, we host three days of doc sprints for multiple teams. We have room for six teams this year. Teams have the freedom to run their sprints however they like, but you have access to the experience of other teams. I'm also available to help coordinate and plan sprints. I've been running open source doc sprints for the last six years. I recently wrote an article for opensource.com about best practices for running sprints: https://opensource.com/community/15/7/five-lessons-open-help-doc -sprints Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything I can do to help plan.
