Python 3 is the default for Arch Linux and Python 2 is commonly installed alongside it. The FEniCS build scripts in the Arch User Repository (e.g. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=58971) make substitutions in the source to use Python 2, such as: find ./ -name "*" -type f -exec \ sed -i 's#\(/usr/bin/env \|/usr/bin/\)python[2-3]*#\1python2#' {} \; It may save you some time if you are going down the same road. -- `--[ Myles ] _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dolfin Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dolfin More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
