Adding the field into tables is ok for me. Adding fiels into form is ok if there is an option to have a condition to show term or not.
The question is where is the best place to edit this option ? This field seems to be related to transportation. Creating a dedicated module just for one option is a little bit heavy. But if there is other feature specific to this field that come, why not.
